Emike Foundation was originally established as the bastion for community support in Edo North, Nigeria. Over the years, we have strenghtened the community support systems available across the entire Southern Nigeria through family units, friends, neighbors, partners, religious organizations, community programs, civic networks, cultural and ethnic organizations, or other support groups or organizations.
For instance, community adaptation to climate change is one of our initiatives. It requires strong and positive engagement across the wider community that supports learning, builds trust and relationships and facilitates individuals and groups to contribute their views, values and concerns. We are championing the sustainable development initiative through advocacy and exemplary actions.
